Infonic Geo-Replication division
- Infonic’s Geo-Replication division sales head office is in the USA and the primary software development laboratories are in the UK. There are also sales offices in Germany, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong.
- Customers
- Infonic’s customers include defense organizations in the USA, UK and Singapore, and professional and commercial companies worldwide; applications range from auditors’ documentation to top secret command and control systems. The maritime industry is also an important customer base, with Geo-Replicator used on hundreds of ships all over the world for compliance and training applications. Users of Microsoft SharePoint with low or intermittent network connectivity, or on expensive links such as satellites, can work remotely from their servers with a fuller experience of Sharepoint’s rich functionality.
- Infonic Geo-Replicator Offices
- Infonic’s sales and marketing, with associated technical support, are centered in the USA head quarters; software development and first and second line technical support are situated in the UK. The Germany sales office is responsible for the D.A.C.H. countries in Europe. Singapore is responsible for Asia Pacific sales, marketing and technical support, with sales offices also in Australia and Hong Kong.
- Geo-Replicator US Headquarters
- Reston, VA, is the USA headquarters, and is the centre of worldwide sales and marketing.
- Geo-Replicator UK Headquarters
- UK and EMEA Geo-Replicator sales headquarters are at Guildford, which is also the worldwide centre for product development, professional services and technical support.
- Geo-Replicator - Germany
- In Europe a separate sales and marketing team is based in Hamburg for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There are local agents in Greece and Norway for maritime customers.
- Geo-Replicator - Singapore
- The Asia Pacific countries are covered by Singapore, with a sales, marketing and support team.
- Geo-Replicator - Australia and New Zealand
- In a new 2008 initiative, a sales office has been established in Melbourne.
- Company history
- Infonic’s Geo-Replication division was formerly known as iOra. Its highly scalable server replication software system was known until 2007 as iOra Accelerator and iOra ON (Offline Networking). The iOra products are now known as Infonic Geo-Replicator Server to Server and Infonic Geo-Replicator Server to Laptop.
