The Infonic Geo-Replicator Solution
Infonic’s Geo-Replicator solution employs Infonic’s patented Epsilon technology to retain a memory (at the byte level) of the information that has been transmitted to each server across the portal since its deployment.
When a user creates a new shared file it will contain some byte patterns which are identical to byte patterns previously transmitted to servers within the portal. Those byte patterns could be logos, graphics, fonts etc…
Geo-Replicator recognizes the information within the new file that is already within the documents on the remote servers. It then simply sends instructions to the remote servers to reuse the existing byte patterns they already have to create the new file.
With Geo-Replicator, no information is ever transmitted twice. This can reduce transmission times by up to 99%.
Server to Server replication
